Quito promotes its attractions at U.S. fair

The new offers from Quito, Ecuador, its digital platform and details of its tourism product were exhibited at the Annual Conference and Fair of the Members of the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA).

The meeting was attended by executives from the tourism industry and major North American tour operators, who met in the city of Phoenix, Arizona.

The participation of the Ecuadorian capital in USTOA is part of the promotion strategies planned for this market.

In 2017, approximately 652,912 tourists arrived in Quito, of whom 160,499 came from the United States and Canada, which is equivalent to 25% of the total number of visitors.

Due to the representativeness of the North American issuing market, for Quito it is an important purpose to promote the destination, its tourist products and maintain relations that allow to increase the arrival of travelers from cities in the United States and Canada.
