Nahuizalco

Baskets, creels or rugs woven out of palm tree fibers, as well as pieces of furniture and decorations made of wicket, palm trees and Indian reed overwhelm the sidewalks up and down the whole town with both an indigenous and craftsmanship heart. Despite its location in a gorge, several watercourses like the Grande de Sonsonate River, fertilize the soil in Nahuizalco for growing beans, corn, rice, bulrush and ditch reed, all of them essential raw materials for craftsmanship.
