Biografía:
Havana, 1922 This writer is one of the most personal voices of the Cuban poetry. A singular and untransferable voice which reveals a woman in all her complexity and who, due to her attraction, breathe, human values and sincerity, moves and earns the reader. There has been words of the true or assumed love life of the poet which has influenced her work and figure, and which has been theme of TV series about her life in Spain and the United States. That`s why almost all her poetry is considerated “erotic”, when the eroticism isn`t more than one of her zones, pretty well defined, sometimes, or interwoven, most of the time, with other themes and concerns. This woman loves this theme and, been 74 years old, she refuses to admit she is aging and she remains considering herself a young lady who loves life and vibrates with the rhythm of the perpetual memories. Her stories received important distinctions, but she has refused to gather them into a book. With the title Carilda ordena sus papeles she has advanced some passages of her memories.
