Its culture conserves folkloric traditions such as its national dance “punto guanacasteco” and its bright-colored carts. The celebrations in honor of its patron saints are also part of its folklore. Its cultural life is modern and some still survive in the designs used in jewelry, leather articles and clothes, features of the older cultures.
