Codfish with potatoes.

The codfish with potatoes is probably what you will find anywhere in Bermudas. Breakfast on Sunday and codfish with potatoes is just the same. Maybe the tradition comes from the Azores islands originally given by the land agricultures. Most of the people eat it in breakfast accompanied by bananas. ,

2 packages (2 pounds) de spine salty codfish ,5 big potatoes cut in fourths (or 12 small potatoes with the peel ,12 Slices of bacon ,2 spoonful of butter,4 onions finely cut 12 Bananas from Bermuda ( 6 big ones) ,2 Avocados , egg sauce,olive oil, Salt,fresh pepper, Outerbridge’s Original Wine Vinegar Peppers Sauce
Soar the codfish in water the night before or at least 10 hours before ,Wash them some times with fresh water,Cook the codfish and the potatoes,Cook at low fire in water for 10 or 15 minutes or until the meat is in crumbles ,In a bread oven bake the bacon until it browns and drain it on a dry paper,Put two spoonfuls of bacon, butter and onion on the oven until it browns,Peel the bananas ,Makes 6 servings,Bon appetite!, .

Fried bananas with sugar and cinnamon

In Bermudas, the boiled banana with a touch of rum is everybody’s favorite. Here we introduce a delicious dessert.

1spoonful of melted butter ,1 beaten egg,½ cup of beer,½ cup of flour,salt to taste. ,1 white egg beaten,wide frying pan , 4 bananas,cinnamon,and sugar (1 part of cinnamon by 3 parts of sugar), optional Ron Gosling's Black Seal (or any other similar quality rum ),
Heat the pan until , 360° F. ,mix the butter, beaten egg, beer, salt and flour until they become a dough ,wrap in white egg.Cut the bananas in 1 ½ inches long.Wet each of them in the dough and fry in the pan ,Once they brown remove from the heat and roll them immediately in sugar and cinnamon. Serve hot as they are or with a touch of rum and , Outerbridge's Original Sherry Rum Peppers Sauce.Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Roast Bananas

In Bermudas, the history of banana dates from the Outerbridge family. Banana was introduced in the island in 1616 by the governor Daniel Tucker. Many dishes are prepared having the ripe fruit as a base., In Bermuda the banana is welcomed in any meal. This recipe is served as dessert., It’s a delicious complement to Mustard Wine Steak., Try it!, !

¾ cups of water,4 spoonful of brown sugar, juice of ½ a lemon, 6 Bananas from Bermuda (or 4 big bananas ) ,2 spoonfuls of butter,Salt,Optional: 2 spoonfuls of grated coconut ,Outerbridge’s Original Sherry Peppers Sauce
Pre heat until 350°, pour water and sugar in a pot and let boil, then low the flame and cook for 30 seconds. Remove the bread from the heat and let chill. Add the lemon juice ,Cut the bananas in halves and put on the oven ,Add butter and powder with salt , coconut and cover it with syrup,Bake it for 15 minutes,Add syrup and cook for another 15 minutes. , Remove it and spray it with, Outerbridge’s Original Sherry Peppers Sauce.Serve hot ,Makes 4 servings ,
