Call for entries for Expocaribe is open

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, held a press conference before representatives of the Caribbean diplomatic corps accredited in Cuba. The topic discussed was aimed at summoning businessmen from the region to participate in Expocaribe 2022, an important commercial venue that will be open from June 23 to 26, at the Heredia Cultural Complex in the city of Santiago de Cuba, located in the eastern part of the country, some 950 km from the capital.
In his remarks, Minister Malmierca assured that this event aims to open Cuba's business portfolio to Caribbean entrepreneurs, as well as to celebrate the fifty years of relations between Cuba and the region.
Rodrigo Malmierca also expressed during his speech the intention to promote Cuban exports, not only of products but also of services, and to expand relations between Caribbean and Cuban companies to other types of joint businesses, including investments that can be made in our country.
At the end of the press conference, representatives of the government of Santiago de Cuba offered information on the advantages offered by the city to host the event. They referred to the excellent hotel infrastructure and the cultural ties that unite the city with the peoples of the Caribbean, with whom they have a special historical and cultural affinity.
